Talenza are seeking an experienced Data Migration Project Manager for a leading Insurance company based in Sydney. This is an initial 6 Month contract role on a large enterprise business improvement initiative.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in project delivery focused roles with accountability for the delivery of key streams on large business improvement programs of work. We're looking for a strong Data Migration Project Manager to join a complex program of work within the Insurance/Claims world. You will manage an effective high performing team whilst managing a number of key senior stakeholders across the business. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills with proven experience working with C-level executives. You will have strong leadership qualities with the ability to work closely with technical resources and the business simultaneously. 


  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or technology related fields
  • A minimum of 5 years Project Management Experience
  • Data Migration Experience (Particularly migrating in data from third parties)
  • Putting in place manual work arounds for business issues caused by missing data
  • Quickly and insightfully managing risks and issues
  • Experience in Insurance or Banking industry preferable
  • Formal Project Management qualifications in Agile Delivery Methodologies and Prince2 or PMBOK
  • Expert Stakeholder engagement skills
  • Planning out required lead-times
  • Delivering to very tight time frames
  • Large Scale Project experience
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken
