Job Description

Talenza have been retained to source a Senior Director of eCommerce Marketing & Customer Service. This is a newly created role to report directly to the APAC Managing Director of one of the largest eCommerce retailers globally.

 

This is a role that will give you visibility and sight of the global executive team, which could lead you to being a CEO/ MD of a region locally or globally in the future.

 

The Senior Director of eCommerce Marketing & Customer Service is a succession plan for the Managing Director of APAC region and will be accountable for doubling the size of the revenue over the next 5 years.

 

You will need to be proven and confident with your numbers when it comes to building a multi-channel, eCommerce marketing strategy.

 

Its essential you have proven paid search experience, execution and results as my client is well known for having a world class paid search function.

 

Other marketing channels alongside paid search (70% of budget) is affiliate, Organic, Email and Display Marketing.

 

In addition to the eCommerce marketing experience, the Senior Director of eCommerce Marketing & Customer Service will be expected to have exceptional story-telling, influencing and relationship building experience. There is a number of stakeholders globally that will need to be managed and influenced to gain further investment in the APAC region.

 

Globally they run their marketing budgets by regional success, so the greater the ROI the greater the investment. The greater you can build the marketing narrative and successes the bigger the role and perception you will build.

 

This is truly exciting but challenging role. But a role that could change your career and propel your personal brand to a new level.

 

It is also desirable but not essential to have worked within a global matrix/ organisation previously where you understand the need for flexibility with meetings taking place early or late in the day. Plus experience in a retail or fixed product industry is also desirable but not essential.

 

It is essential to understand the eCommerce world in a B2C &/or B2B world.
