Talenza are currently assisting a boutique SaaS company to source a DevOps Engineer to their Engineering team in Sydney. 

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of modern AWS cloud infrastructure combined with in-depth experience with Linux/Unix systems. Ideally you'll have a passion for infrastructure automation and an interested in Artificial Intelligence. 

About the role

• Work closely with Software Engineering teams to design, build, deploy; cloud, application and on-prem infrastructure
• Champion the build of CI/CD pipelines
• Support engineering teams to design, test, debug software solutions
• Configure, document, deploy and monitor cloud operations environment
• Understand, implement and automate security controls and governance processes

About you

• Extensive experience working with AWS core services; EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS.
• Extensive experience working with Linux/ Unix systems; Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, 
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-code; Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansilbe
• Experience with CI/CD tools; Jenkins, Bamboo
• Experience with Orchestrating and Scheduling tools; Kubernetes or Rancher
• Strong infrastructure background with an understanding of; storage, servers, EUC, networking and security.
