Talenza have been retained to source a Director of Ecommerce Optimisation & Experience. This is a newly created role within one of the worlds largest ecommerce retailers.
It will not only include the accountability for the entire web experience in the ANZ experience including the CX, MX & UX on top of the optimisation but thousands of micro sites. So if you are a truly technical and passionate ecommerce & customer led professional this will get the juices flowing!!!
Director of Ecommerce Optimisation & Experience will be responsible for optimising the end to end user experiences across all digital platforms and driving campaigns relating to go to market activities. Using insights from quantitative research, you will help to shape the personalised experience for all customers across all digital platforms and channels. Working closely with Go to market, Marketing, Digital, Distribution, Manufacturing, Merchandising and Pricing teams, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience to all customers whilst maximising conversion, retention, acquisition and performance.
What’s in it for you?
This role has been created through a recent investment to scale and enhance the ANZ business, which will be targeted to grow the revenue from $100m to $200m in the next 3 years. You will sit on the senior leadership team and be the succession plan for the recently appointed Chief Ecommerce, Marketing & Sales Officer.
You will also be responsible for developing, driving & owning the ecommerce strategy and P&L. whilst influencing the wider businesses strategy across Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, Product & Category.
What do I need?
We’d expect you to have a good track record of Digital Optimisation experience, ideally within the retail or a fixed product environment, ie, FMCG, Pharma etc. With an eye for detail and a customer centric mindset, you will have a proven track record optimising the customer journey across a variety of digital and marketing channels. You'll be passionate about continuous improvement and also have significant experience with ecommerce & marketing technology. Building strong relationships comes second nature to you, your excellent communication skills mean you can influence and negotiate with ease in cross-functional environments.
