Job Description

Talenza have been engaged by a reputable financial services firm in Brisbane to find a DevOps Engineer on a 3 month initial contract with possibility of extensions. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be implementing and automating a continuous Integration & continuous deployment pipeline for their existing unit test framework. You will work with development and operations teams to automate their build, test, packaging and deployment procedures to provide a pipeline deployment capability into Production. You can also expect to automate code coverage and code quality tools which integrate with the CI / CD pipeline.

They're current technology stack is:

    • Jenkins
    • Front end - Kony (~RequireJS)
    • Front end unit tests (Jest framework)
    • Backend - Implemented in Java as an HTTP REST API. Java tests in Junit
    • Backend virtualised in Parasoft Virtualise
    • UI Automation tests implemented in Java / Appium
    • Integration tests built in Parasoft SOAtest to test backend SOAP APIs

Requirements

  • Experience managing multiple streams pipelines and CI/CD process (automated deployment)
  • Hands on technical person able to triage defects across environment, integration & code
  • Ability to work with different project teams (across environment, integration & development) and bring cohesiveness across the teams to focus on diagnosing defects
  • Good communication skills
